Goldsmith held; gold of Rs 18 lakh, Rs 9.5 lakh in cash seized

New Delhi, Jan 16 (UNI) The Delhi Police today said they have arrested a goldsmith and seized gold jewellery worth Rs 18 lakh besides Rs 9.5 lakh in cash from his possession.

With the arrest of 41-year-old Dinesh Jain, a resident of Delhi's Rana Pratap Bagh, the police said they have worked out a case of breach of trust and misappropriation.

They said the entire misappropriated gold ornaments worth Rs 18 lakh and Rs 9.5 lakh in cash have been seized from him.

A case has been registered at the Chandni Chowk police station in this regard.
