GE Healthcare launches convertible X-Ray
Bangalore, Jan 16 (UNI) To tap the growing X-Ray equipment market in India, GE Healthcare today launched 'Tejas XR 6000', a convertible X-Ray system here GE Healthcare President and CEO (South Asia) V Raja told newspersons the new system would create a revolution in the present X-Ray market which was growing at ten per cent.
The 'Tejas XR 6000', which was more economical, can be upgraded to digital in due course.
Company General Manager Shireesh Sahai said GE Healthcare would release a series of X-Ray machines in the next two years.
''The company will continue with its commitment to technology, innovation and ability to incorporate important inputs from leading medical professionals around the world,'' he added.
