Former CPI(ML) MLA Mahendra Singh remembered in J'khand

Giridih, Jan 16 (UNI) Former legislator Mahendra Singh (CPI-ML) was today remembered here on his third death anniversary.

Addressing a gathering at Bagodar Stadium, party's national general secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya said the day would be marked as ''Sankalp Diwas'' with the oath to root out the UPA backed Madhu Koda government of the state.

Mr Bhattacharya said the government had no moral rights to continue as it failed on every fronts and his party would launch statewide agitation in this regard.

Referring to the CBI inquiry being conducted to nab the culprits who gunned down the former party MLA three years ago, Mr Bhattacharya said the investigating agency was yet to submit its interim report to the government.

He said Mr Singh would always be remembered for his strength of fight for common people.
