Explosion near IIT creates panic in S Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 16: Panic spread this morning when an explosion took place near a premier South Delhi Institute.

Senior police official told UNI that it was nothing serious and the police was verifying what the whole thing was all about. Meanwhile, people ran helter-skelter after the explosion was heard near the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) gate in Hauz Khas at about 1100 hrs. Sources confirnmed that it was not a blast as suspected and its cause was being examined.
