Eight charred to death, several injured in road accident
Panaji, Jan 16 (UNI) Eight people were charred to death and several others were injured when a truck carrying some chemicals rammed into a bus near Malpe in Parnem under Parnem Police limit in north Goa today.
The bus carrying tourists was on way from Goa to Gujarat. The injured have been rushed to different hospitals where several of them were stated to be critical.
The issue also figured in the State Legislative Assembly with Chief Minister Digamber Kamat directing the officials to rush to the spot. Further details are awaited.
