CII, EL-Salvador sign MoU for improving trade and investments

Gurgaon, Jan 16 (UNI) Aimed at promoting bilateral trade and investment between India and El Salvador, industry body Confederation on Indian Industry (CII) and the Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed by EI Salvador Vice President Ana Vilma Albanez de Escobar and Bajaj Auto Vice Chairman Madhur Bajaj.

EI Salvador will also open an embassy in the country by next month, Ms Escobar said at the Partnership Summit 2008 here.

Pointing to the challenges faced by EI Salvador for balancing and stimulating its economy, she indicated that some good initiatives are underway for improving education, energy generation and other social areas.
