MP: Chandel Project to be operational in June

Khandwa (MP), Jan 16: Situated on the left bank of Indira Sagar Project, the Chandel Power Project, near Punasa in this district, will be operational from June, official sources said here.

Three turbines of 5 MW each are being set up, sources added yesterday.

The first would begin generating electricity by June and the rest by December.
