Asst. Horticulture Officer, Kanakapura, arrested by Lokayukta
Bangalore, Jan 16 (uni) Karnataka Lokayukta slueths today arrested an assistant horticulture officer of Kanakapura taluk while accepting a bribe for showing official favour.
According to a press release here, Krishnaiah had demanded Rs 4000 to hand over a cheque for Rs 8400, subsidy amount sanctioned by the State government for his banana plantation, to Mr Ramachandraiah.
Bangalore rural Lokayukta police caught Krishnaiah redhanded while accepting Rs 2000 from the complaintant.
