American killed in road accident in AP

Hyderabad, Jan 16 (UNI) An American national was killed on the spot when the bus, in which he was travelling, was hit by a lorry near Ketepalli of Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh today.

Police identified the deceased as William John Lesly (27), hailing from Washington DC.

The lorry hit the bus from behind, while the bus driver tried to overtake it.

Lesly was proceeding to Vijayawada from here.

Police authorities had informed the US Embassy in New Delhi and were taking measures to shift the body to the US.
