IITK to have joint research collaboration with S'pore varsity

Singapore, Jan 15: The India Institute of Technology-Kanpur (IITK) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU) for joint research collaboration and issuing of joint degrees.

The two institutions would host student and staff exchange visits, the Channel News Asia reported today. A delegation from NTU's School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering would visit the IITK later this year. A team of professors from the Uttar Pradesh-based IITK and NTU met here last July and exchanged views on diverse fields, such as computational mechanics, microfluidics and supply chain management.
