Five, including four TN pilgrims killed in road accident
Kottayam, Jan 15 (UNI) Five people, including four Ayyappa devotees from Tamil Nadu were killed and 15 others sustained injuries when their mini-bus overturned and fell into a rubber estate near Erumeli in this district today.
Police said the mishap occurred when the pilgrims hired the bus from Kottayam Railway Station and were returning from Sabarimala.
Two of the deceased were identified as bus driver Rahim, hailed from Kottayam and an Ayyappa devotee, Srinivasan, from Chennai Seven of the seriously injured were admitted to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital and others at Kanjirappally hospital, police added.
