Centre sanctions Rs 6.02 crore for Corbett park

New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) The Union Tourism Ministry has sanctioned Rs 6.02 crore for the development of Corbett National Park as a tourist circuit in Uttarakhand.

Tourism Minister Ambika Soni today approved the project proposal of the Uttarakhand Government.

Ministry sources said the first instalment of Rs 4.81 crore is being released to the state government immediately as an advance for starting the work.

The project includes development of Dhikuli, Dhaila and Mohaan.

As part of the project, 25 eco-huts would be constructed.
