Women Baseball Championship from Jan 16

Chandigarh, Jan 14 (UNI) The Women Baseball Federation of India (WBFI) in association with Baseball Federation of India (BFI) is conducting Open Women Baseball Championship which will be held from January to 16 to 20 at Government Model Senior Secondary School in Sector 23 here.

Fourteen teams including Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Panjab, Haryana, Maharastra, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh will participate in the tournament.

Mr Joel Ehrendreich, First Sectary of US Embassy will inaugurate the tournament on January 16 .

Deepak Joshi (Chairman WBFI), I S Sandhu (Chandigarh Sports Director), Vivek Atrey (Chandigarh Director Tourism) and S Setia (DPI Schools) will be guests of honour.
