Three die in road accidents in Kerala

Kozhikode, Jan 14 (UNI) Three persons were killed and one person injured seriously in two accidents in the Malabar region of Kerala, today.

Police said two people were killed on the spot when the motorbike on which they were riding rammed into an earth-laden lorry at Kandanakam in Malappuram district.

Their companion, who sustained serious injuries, was rushed to a hospital in Thrissur district, police said, adding that the victims were not yet identified.

In the other accident, a college student, Rasheed (19), died when his motorbike was hit by a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus at Thalai in the district.
