State govt to under take soil testing
Kolhapur, Jan 14 (UNI) The Maharashtra Government will soon undertake agriculture land (soil) testing in the state, Agriculture Minister Balasaheb Thorat said today.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Thorat said the State Government has taken the decision to help farmers choose the crop pattern, which will help the farmers to get better yield.
Farmers will be given information regarding their agriculture land quality, proper use of water, organic manure and chemical fertilizers, he added.
