Kumble drops charges against Hogg
Bangalore, Jan 14: India skipper Anil Kumble today decided to drop the charges on Aussie wrist-spinner Brad Hogg, sources revealed.
"Whatever said and done in the heat of the moment during the matches should not be taken out of the field, and that Hoggy, I believe he meant no malice," said the magnanimous Kumble after a team meeting held in Perth, the venue for third Test, in this regard.
Hogg, who was accused of making an offensive remark to Anil Kumble and Mahendra Dhoni on the final day's play in SCG Test, was scheduled to attend the ICC hearing today.
The Aussie wrist-spinner had called the Indian batsmen Kumble and Dhoni "b*****ds" a very derogative term in Indian sub-continent.
Now Indians expect the Aussies to follow their suit in Harbhajan issue.
