House wife brutally murdered

Vijayawada, Jan 14 (UNI) Three unidentified persons brutally murdered a 40-year-old woman and looted cash in the city this after noon.

According to the police, the city based glassware merchant Dinesh Jain was living in an apartment along with his wife and three children. At the time of the incident Mr Dinesh and his two children were out of station.

His third child, wife Kavita Jain and their male servant Parveen were in the house. Three persons came to the flat asking about her husband in Marwadi language. She trusted them and replied that he went to Indore. They asked her to permit them to talk with her husband by phone.

The trio entered the house, tied the servant in a bathroom and Kavita was brutally beaten. They tied her neck with a towel till death and later decamped with the booty.

Police Commissioner C V Anand rushed to the spot along with dog squad.

Police said blood stained clothes and a weapon were recovered from the spot, and added that special teams were pressed into service to nab the culprits.
