Heroin worth Rs 88 lakh seized in Nadia

Kolkata, Jan 14 (UNI) The CID's narcotics cell today raided a house in Nadia district and recovered 440 grams of heroin whose international value is around Rs 88 lakh.

Criminal Investigation Department(CID) sources told UNI that the raid was conducted at around 2 PM at the house at Nowpara Bazar under Dhantala police station of one Ramen Biswas(27) and the narcotic substance recovered.

Ramen has been arrested.
