CPI (ML) leader shot dead in Ara

Ara, Jan 13 (UNI) A CPI (ML) leader Mohammed Sufian was shot dead by unidentified criminals near Awar bridge under town police station in Bhojpur district today.

Police said the criminals opened fire on Md Sufian when he was talking to his friends near his shop. Md Sufian died on the spot.

Another person Mohammed Aslam sustained serios injuries in the shoot-out. He was hospitalised.

Motive behind the killing was being investigated,police said adding raids were being carried out to nab the killers.
