Coast Guard Exhibition draws huge crowds in Andaman

Port Blair, Jan 14 (UNI) The Coast Guard (CG) Exhibition, displaying the CG jetty which remains restricted on normal days, was organised here on January 12-13.

''Lone MP from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Manoranjan Bhakta inaugurated the exhibition,'' CG Public Relations Officer Commandant Akshay Jain told UNI today.

The inaugural ceremony was followed by an air display by CG helicopters which kept the audience spellbound.

Besides, the CG boarding operations, wherein the personnel boarded a suspected vessel at sea, were also displayed.

The Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association (CGWWA) stall, exhibiting various textiles, jewellery and other fancy items, also drew huge response.
