BSNL to enter capital market soon: Raja

New Delhi, Jan 14 (UNI) Telecom Minister A Raja today said the ministry is considering the state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd's (BSNL) plan to enter capital market through initial public offer (IPO).

''The BSNL inital public offer is under consideration and the matter has been referred to the Telecom Commission. The company may launch its IPO soon,'' Mr Raja told reporters on the sidelines of a conference here.

Earlier the media had reported that the company may offer 20 per cent of its equity.

The company is expected raise about 10 billion dollars.
