Vice President Ansari arrives on a maiden visit

Bangalore, Jan 13(UNI) Vice President Hamid Ansari today arrived on a two-day maiden visit to the city.

Mr Ansari was received at the airport by Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Rehman Khan, Union Minister M V Rajasekharan and other officials.

He will take part at the National Institute of Advanced Studies and meet the Governor in the evening.
