Vice President Ansari arrives

Bangalore, Jan 13 (UNI) Vice-President Hamid Ansari, who is on a two-day maiden visit to the city, arrived here today.

Mr Ansari was received at the airport by Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Rehman Khan and Union Minister M V Rajasekharan.

He would participate in a function at National Institute of Advanced Studies, before meeting the Governor.
