Tata-Hatia-Jamutawi looted
Latehar, Jan 13 (UNI) Armed miscreants looted valuables from the passengers of Tata-Hatia-Jammutawi UP Express in between Barwadih and Bendi railway stations under South Eastern Railway division in the district late last night.
Railway sources today said about ten miscreants armed with weapons boarded the train at Bendi railway station and robbed the passengers at gunpoint.
The culprits decamped with the valuables after pulling the chain near Barwadih station, sources added.
Agitated over the incident, passengers manhandled the driver and assitant driver of the train.
Both injured drivers underwent treatment at Barwadih health centre, sources said.
