Fire breaks out at a tyre factory

Barrackpore, Jan 13 (UNI) On the heels of devastating Barabazar blaze, another major fire today broke out at a tyre factory in Shyamnagar under Jagaddal Police Station of North 24 Parganas district.

Fire Brigade sources said at least ten fire engines, which had been pressed into service to douse the blaze, had been fighting to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire and the extent of damage were yet to be ascertained, sources added.
