Drunk Saudi passenger creates ruckus on flight
Chennai, Jan 13 (UNI) A drunk Saudi passenger on board a Jet Airways flight created a ruckus among co-passengers and crew aboard last night's Mumbai-Chennai flight.
Airport sources said Altossari Mohammed (49) used foul language and abused Indians working in his native Saudi Arabia infuriating Co-passenger Aboobacker Parry (40) of Kerala so much so he immediately lodged a complaint after the flight landed here last night at 2300 hrs.
Following this, police took him to a local hospital, under their custody, for medical examination.
However, this morning, Mohammed woke up to reality and profusely apologised to the authorities and Mr Parry for his misdemeanour.
Following this, Mr Parry withdrew his complaint and he was allowed to leave after a strict warning, this afternoon.
