Veteran freedom fighter Mahesh Dutt dead
Mahoba, Jan 12 (UNI) Veteran freedom fighter Mahesh Dutt Mishra passed away here late last night.
He was 95.
The nonagenarian leader took part in the 1942 Quit India movement and was sent to jail several times.
After Independance, he was appointed as Panchayat Secretary in Pant Govind Balabh Pant regime.
Mr Mishra remained a bachelor.
He was cremated with full state honour here today.
