UP trounced Haryana in Korfball championship

Puducherry, Jan 11: Uttar Pradesh scored an upset 10-9 victory over defending champions Haryana to enter the final of the 15th junior national Korfball championships here tonight.

In an evenly contested semi-final Uttar Pradesh scored the narrow win over a fighting Haryana. In the second semi final, last year's runner up Jammu and Kashmir outplayed Andhra Pradesh 13-11 to enter the finals.
