Two injured in grenade attack in Assam
Dibrugarh, Jan 12 (UNI) Two persons were seriously injured in a grenade attack by unidentified militants in Assam's Dibrugarh district, police said here today.
The two Hindi-speaking drivers, hailing from Rajasthan, were engaged in construction work on the Bogibeel bridge over the Brahmaputra, police added.
Unidentified militants lobbed the grenade at them a little after midnight while they were sleeping at a temporary site camp at Rangsali under Khowang police station.
Both the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital in a critical condition, police added.
