Suitcase with gold ornaments recovered

Hyderabad, Jan 12 (UNI) The city police today recovered a suitcase with over a kg of gold ornaments from a hotel in the city today.

Police suspect that the ornaments belonged to South Malabar Gramin Bank at Chelembra in Malappuram district of Kerala, where a robbery took place recently.

The suitcase was recovered after the hotel authorities informed the police that one Bala Prasad, hailing from Tamil Nadu, had checked out, leaving the suitcase behind.

A police team had left for Kerala for further investigation, police added.
