Prohibited medicines worth Rs 25 lakh seized

Pratapgarh, Jan 12: Spurious and prohibited medicines worth Rs 25 lakh were seized in three Vigilance Department raids under Kunda area here.

Official sources said today the Vigilance Department sleuths raided the clinic and residence of a doctor, besides a chemist store yesterday, that led to the seizure of illegitimate medicines estimated at Rs 25 lakh. A person was taken into custody and the medicine samples were sent for examination, sources informed.
