Shiv Sena MP to take out rally for farmers
Pune, Jan 12 (UNI) Shiv Sena MP Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil will be taking out a rally to bring to light the problems of farmers in Maharashtra.
Addressing a press conference here today, Mr Patil said the five-day rally will start from Pune on January 16 and during the period he will visit all the districts of Western Maharashtra to solve the problems of farmers.
He said that the Congress party headed by Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh failed to come up to the expectations of their party manifesto of waving the loans of farmers and also give reasonable prices to the sugarcane farmers.
He said that the Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray will be addressing a Maha Rally in Pune on February 3.
