Minor change in temperature in Himachal
Shimla, Jan 12 (UNI) Barring light snowfall of barely one cm at Kalpa in Kinnaur District and Keylong in Spiti, no snow has been recorded in the other tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh.
However, the temperature in the lower belts of the state has taken a sharp dip and hovered around two degrees to five degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature recorded today in Dharamshala was 7.7 celsius, Una 3.4, Nahan 8.9 degree celsius with the warmth receding as compared to yesterday.
Sundernagar which had yesterday recorded 5.1 celsius, the minimum temperature today was recorded 3.0 degree Celsius. Temperature at Bhunter yesterday recorded was 4.2 which today plummeted to 1.4 degree Celsius. Cold winds swept through these locations.
Kalpa showed the mercury at minus 3.1 celsius which today plunged to minus 5.5 degree Celsius. While the temperature at Keylong is recorded minus 11.2 following Bhang Manali minus 2.0, Dhundi minus 7.5 degree Celsius Solang Nullah minus 2.0 degree Celsius.
