Mayawati's corrupt officials not to be spared: SP

Lucknow, Jan 12 (UNI) Principal Opposition Samajwadi Party today said the ''corrupt officials of the present Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh would not be spared,'' if the party cames to power again.

''Chief Minister Mayawati is misusing public funds in the name of her birthday on January 15...several ministers and high profile officials are hand-in-glove in this act,'' UP SP acting president Shivpal Singh Yadav told reporters here this evening.

The SP was keeping an eye on them and they would not be spared, if the party cames to power again, he underlined.

''Just like 'Goonda Tax', the officials are extorting money from tenders in the name of Ganga Expressway Project and embezzling it for MS Mayawati,'' Mr Yadav alleged.
