LeT militant killed in Doda encounter

Doda, Jan 12 (UNI) Army troops today gunned down a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant in an encounter here on the upper reaches of this district in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

Troops of 10 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) killed the LeT militant, identified as Farooq Ahmed, during an encounter at Bagwa village of Doda, sources told UNI.

One AK-56 rifle, three magazines and a mobile phone were recovered from the possession of the slain militant.
