Kolkata experiences sunny weather

Kolkata, Jan 12 (UNI) The sun shone brightly in the city helping the mercury rise above normal level.

The Alipore Met office recorded the day's maximum temperature at 29 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal while the minimum was 19 degrees.

The maximum relative humidity was pegged at 90 per cent.

The Met office forecast a clear weather with the maximum temperature rising a little more during the next 24 hours.
