Former MLA, son booked for hooliganism
Ferozepur, Jan 12 (UNI) The local police today registered a case against former Congress Legislator and Parliamentary Secretary and his son along with 40 supporters for alleged hooliganism, on the complaint of another prominent Congress leader of the area.
According to information, the police have registered a case against Ravinder Singh Sandhu 'Babbal', Ex-MLA and former Parliamentary Secretary, his son Udey Pal Singh and 40 others on the complaint of Chamkaur Singh Dhindsa, a prominent Congress leader and father of District Youth Congress President, Harinder Singh Dhindsa. In his complaint, Mr Dhindsa alleged that Mr Sandhu along with his supporters allegedly threatened him of dire consequences and misbehaved with him in a marriage function at Moga, last night. Acting on the complaint, police have registered a case under Sections 147, 148, 160, 188 and 506 of IPC.
