Decision on Sachar Committee recommendations soon: UP govt

Pratapgarh, Jan 12 (UNI) The ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Uttar Pradesh today said it was seriously considering to implement the Sachar Committee recommendations in the state.

''The state government is studying the Committee's recommendations and would take a decision soon,'' newly elected BSP state president and Cooperative minister Swamy Prasad Maurya said here.

On the recent spurt in the terrorist acts across UP, he noted that the Centre's lax policies were unable to put a tab on infiltration at the international borders.
