Congress leader scotched rumour on joining BJP
Mysore, Jan 12(UNI) The Congress in Karnataka will fight the coming assembly elections in Karnataka, collectively under the leadership of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Mallikarjuna Kharge, Senior Congress leader and former minister R V Deshapande, asserted here today.
Addressing newsmen here today Mr Deshapande said that party high command was expected to revamp the KPCC under the leadership of Mr Kharge. "Elections will be fought under the able leadership of Mr Kharge" Deshapande said.
Replying to questions Mr Deshapande also scotched rumours about possibility of him joining BJP. "There is no truth in it" Mr Deshapande said emphatically.
