Ayyappa devotee killed in road accident
Pathanamthitta, Jan 12 (UNI) An Ayyappa devotee was fatally knocked down by a speeding private bus at Kidangannoor junction near Aranmula today.
Police said the devotee was accompanying the procession carrying 'Thiruvabharanam' that started from Pandalam at 1300 hrs today.
The accident occurred at 1630 hrs. The deceased was yet to be identified.
The body was being kept at Kozhencherry district hospital mortuary, police added.
