Air force clarify Sopore incident in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 11 (UNI) A spokesman of Indian Air Force tonight said that during a training mission, as Aircraft had dropped an empty fuel tank to avoid a crash.

The empty tank had fallen on the roof of a house in Janipora, Sopore which got damaged, he said.

An inquiry team of Air Force along with civil officials, would visit the site to assess the damage.

Adequate compensation would be provided to repair the damaged house, he added.
