30-yr-old cyclist is Blueline's first victim of the year
New Delhi, Jan 12 (UNI) In the first accident of the year involving a Blueline bus, a 30-year-old cyclist died after being hit by the bus in Kalyanpuri area of East Delhi this morning.
The cyclist, Raja, was declared 'brought dead' at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital where he was rushed soon after being hit by the bus near Kondli bridge, according to sources.
The bus, plying on route no 301A (Mayur Vihar III to Kashmere Gate ISBT), hit Raja from the back at about 1130 hrs while he was moving towards the Kashmere Gate side.
Efforts were on to arrest the driver of the bus who is absconding, police said.
