Palestine state treaty in a year: Bush

Jerusalem, Jan 11, 2008 : Addressing a news conference in Jerusalem, U.S. President George W. Bush, said on January 10th that he expected Israel to sign a peace treaty with Palestine within a year for the creation of a Palestinian state.

After holding talks with the Israeli and Palestinian leaders, Bush also called for an end to the 40-year Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
