Trader shot dead in Hansi, resident hold protest

Hisar, Jan 11 (UNI) A young businessman was shot dead by unidentified criminals in Hansi town in this district when he was returning home after closing shop last night, police today said.

Angered by the murder of 28-year-old Praveen, a dealer of readymade garments, residents, shopkeepers and leaders of opposition parties today blocked traffic in the town, staged demonstration and dharna to demand the arrest of the killers.

Parveen was the fifth trader who fell to criminals' bullets in past few months for reportedly resisting them.

Police is investigating the case.
