Sathiyavathy assumes charge as CSB Member-Secretary

Bangalore, Jan 11 (UNI) Ms M Sathiyavathy has assumed charge as Central Silk Board Member-Secretary, becoming the first Woman IAS officer to hold the post.

Ms Sathiyavathy, a 1982 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS Officer, had earlier served in different capacities as Secretary to Puducherry and Arunachal Pradesh Governments, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade in the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry and also as ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC), Bangalore.
