Nepal Constituent Assembly elections on April 10

Kathmandu, Jan 11 (UNI) Nepal today fixed April 10 as the date for the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers fixed the date for holding the elections in single phase.

Prior to this meeting, the three major political parties approved the date for holding the elections.

The CA election was postponed three times and the leaders of the seven political parties had vowed to hold them before the Nepali New Year which is on April 14.
