NBW issued against sub inspector

Banda, Jan 11 (UNI) A local court has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against a police sub inspector (SI) in case of suicide by a youth here.

Sources said Ramesh Dwivedi had hanged himself about one-and-half-years back, after he was roughed up by the police.

A case in the matter was registered after the intervention of human rights commission.

Hearing the case, the district court issued NBW against SI Indrapal Singh Bundela.
