Idea gets LoIs for nine circles from DoT
New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) Aditya Birla-promoted Idea Cellular Ltd today said it has received Letters of Intent (LoIs) from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for providing Unified Access Services in nine service areas.
Idea Cellular, which got the LoIs yesterday, will now be able to provide telecom services in Kolkata, West Bengal, Assam, Karnataka, Orissa, North East, Jammu&Kashmir, Punjab, Tamil Nadu (including Chennai).
The company, in a statement said, it intends to roll out services in all the nine service areas as soon as spectrum is made available.
