Carpet exporter among 5 booked for raping servant

Bhadohi, Jan 11 (UNI) At least five persons, including a carpet exporter, have been booked for raping a woman here.

Police Superintendent S N Upadhyay today said a case was registered against carpet exporter Gulam Rasool and his four family members late yesterday night on instructions of the DIG.

The quintet had been charged of criminally assaulting their maid servant for the last 12 years.

They had also been accused of coercing the woman to terminate her pregnancy four times.

A hunt for the absconding rapists was on.
