WNS bags Golden Peacock Innovation Award
Mumbai, Jan 10 (UNI) WNS, provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) by the Institute of Directors, an association promoting the development of Indian business leadership, has bagged the Golden Peacock Innovation Award 2007.
The award will be presented during the 18th ''World Congress on Total Quality'' on January 11 in New Delhi, a release said.
WNS has received the award for its Brainwave portal, designed to generate ideas for process improvement from employees across the organisation.
''The WNS Brainwave Portal is the kind of innovation that will be a key differentiator for the 21st century,'' Institute of Directors Director Manoj Raut said.
Established over 15 years ago, the Golden Peacock Awards receive nearly 500 applications each year.
